Often we get a brief that really requires time to think, this plywood kitchen was no exception. The choice of material was both aesthetic and environmental and was selected from the start. The space had a more experimental selection processes behind it. The ‘flexibility of space’ element to the design was achieved with a mobile island unit that enabled access to storage areas while also allowing access to sections of the kitchen at all times. Ample storage compartments and cupboard space allow the kitchen to be kept clutter free when not in use. Handmade cabinet feet and wooden casters lift the carcase away from the floor.
